Below, you’ll find some of the questions which people most often ask us about our MyHomeCover Plans. If you need more information, just give us a call. We’re always happy to talk through any questions that you might have to put your mind at ease.

What Does A Boiler Service Include on a MyHomeCover Plan?

Your annual boiler service is completed by a Gas Safe registered engineer and includes a full inspection of your boiler’s safety and performance. This involves:  

• Flue gas analysis

• Gas pressure and rate checks

• Cleaning of the condensate trap and magnetic filter

• Safety device testing

• Internal case clean

• Recommendations for any necessary maintenance

We schedule your service between May and September to ensure your system is ready before the colder months hit, so when winter arrives, your boiler won’t let you down.

How do call-outs work with the plan?

Each plan includes different levels of call-out support. Bronze plan customers get priority response within 48 hours (weekdays), while Silver and Gold plans include 2 and 3 free call-outs, respectively. Once you've used your free call-outs, a diagnostic fee applies, but you’ll still receive a discount based on your plan level.

What’s included in the Plumbing & Heating Health Check?

Each plan includes a visual, non-invasive overview of your system’s current condition. Our engineers will assess your plumbing and heating setup and suggest improvements, giving you peace of mind that your system is performing at its best.

Can I get cover for my existing boiler?

Yes! We’re happy to cover many existing boilers, so long as they’re standard domestic gas condensing models and pass our initial inspection. This makes MyHomeCover ideal whether you’ve just moved in or simply want more protection for your current setup.

How long is the contract?

MyHomeCover plans run for 12 months and auto-renew annually. If you need to cancel, just let us know 30 days before your renewal date. We also offer a 14-day cooling-off period if you change your mind at the start.

What's included in the System Efficiency Tune Up?

Our System Efficiency Tune-Up is designed to optimise your heating system, reduce energy usage, and improve comfort throughout your home. During the visit, we carry out a detailed check and adjustment of key components and boiler parameters. This service helps your system run more efficiently, potentially lowering your energy bills by up to £678 annually.
